We always had a world-wide launch in mind with this game. We will be launching in China, North America / Europe, Japan and Taiwan in that order, at 2/3 month intervals.

New info:

Aion is not a replacement product for Lineage 1 or 2. There are similarities in the targeted communities but we are not releasing a new game with the intention of closing other games to force players to move over.

Aion bought from a US vendor will play on the US based servers. A copy of Aion bought from an EU vendor will play on the European servers. I'm not sure what servers the Aussie community will play on, but will check into an answer.

Recap of earlier posts:

US and EU beta testing will take place concurrently but at different hours of the day. If things go as planned, there will be a closed beta test later this year, another closed beta test next year and an open beta test shortly before release. Nothing more specific than that has been decided on or announced.

Unless something major changes, US and EU releases will also take place at the same time. We have not announced a release date more specific than during 2009. Yes, I know this feels like a long way out but we want a quality game with as few bugs as possible.

Takze nekdy tento rok bude Closed Beta 1, na pocatku 2009 Closed Beta 2 a teprve pred vydanim hry Open Beta.
Vzhledem k tomu, ze mezi CB1 a CB2 a po CB2 budou nasledovat pauzy (nejspis mesic a vice?), vidim to to na vydani nekdy na prelomu zimy/jara 09.

tak to je peknej průser :/ Nechtěl by teda zatím někdo semnou hrát L2 ? mám na low rate serveru Shilen knighta lvl 75 a potrebuju neakyho partaka na expení nejlépe Sumonera a nebo Healera vybavení bych zajistil do začátku A grade by jsme už poskladali společně.
